Nancy Marks* graduated from New York University with a BA degree and holds a master's degree from Columbia Graduate School. She is currently chairman of the fashion house, Sies Marjan, in New York City.

Nancy has had a life-long interest in preventative medicine, serves on the board of New York Presbyterian Hospital, and on the external advisory committee of its integrative health center. She is a trustee of the Lynne Cohen Foundation for ovarian cancer research, the Melanoma Research Alliance, the Foundation for Art Preservation in Embassies (FAPE), and is a founding board member of the Paul Newman Painted Turtle camp. In London, Nancy serves as a trustee of the Royal Drawing School and is a governor of the Royal Ballet School.

Nancy is the author of a children's book, "Just As You Are: The Story of Leon and Sam," which received the independent publishing prize for graphic design. Her hobby is portrait painting.

Nancy has two grown children, Jane and Andrew, and lives with her husband, Howard, in New York City and London.
