Interim Director of Development

Mark Edmiaston, Mark has served as a senior level national non-profit leader for 28 years. His work in the non-profit sector began with the American Cancer Society where he served for 23 years in various roles including VP Development, Texas and Chief Development and Community Engagement Officer – GW Division. After leaving ACS, Mark has served as CEO of the National Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation, Sr. Vice President of Fitness and Endurance at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Chief Development and Community Engagement Officer at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. In 2019, Mark started MRK Consulting to assist organizations through consulting services or interim staff leadership roles. Mark also provides consulting services through Turnkey Consulting and has served in interim roles as CEO, CDO, and Director of Development for various national nonprofit organizations.
In addition to his development work, Mark has expertise in strategic planning, systematic approaches to health care system engagement, community mobilization and volunteer engagement. Mark currently lives in Memphis, TN with his partner of 18 years, Gabriel Dixon and two dogs Marlow and Joanie.
