Cheryl Adams
Cheryl Adams is a passionate pediatric melanoma advocate who knows all-too-well that melanoma affects people of ages, including kids. This reality came crashing down on her when her nine-year-old son was diagnosed with Spitzoid Melanoma four years ago. Thankfully, her son is now a happy and healthy teenager.
Today, Adams gives back by supporting other parents who are going through similar situations. She receives countless emails, calls, and messages from parents across the country; and the biggest piece of advice she offers is to “never settle and to get other opinions so that you understand what is out there in terms of options.”
She is also the founder of Graham’s Gift, a foundation established at the time of Graham’s diagnosis to raise awareness of and funds for pediatric melanoma.
