Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jessica began her career in education through Teach For America, teaching at KIPP in Newark, New Jersey for a decade. She later returned to Los Angeles, where she spent eight years in Development at The Center for Early Education. A passionate advocate for access and equity in education, she currently serves on the board of Gabriella Charter Schools. She also co-founded the Hammer Collective, the Hammer Museum’s young collectors group, reflecting her deep commitment to arts and culture in Los Angeles. A mother of two young children, she was diagnosed with melanoma in 2023 and is now excited to engage with the Melanoma Research Alliance, grateful for early detection and eager to support research and awareness efforts.
