Oliver Blatt

Oliver Blatt* is an Associate Director in the Private Funds Group at UBS Investment Bank, where he advises financial sponsors and their investors on a range of secondary transactions and alternative liquidity solutions. Prior to UBS, Oliver was part of the Private Funds Group at Credit Suisse, where he began his career.

Oliver sits on the Steering Committee of the Leveraged Finance Fights Melanoma event, an annual benefit in London and New York City that raises funds for melanoma research from the leveraged finance, private equity, and investment community.

Oliver’s commitment to the Melanoma Research Alliance honors his late mother, Joanne, who lost her battle with melanoma at age 50. In her memory, the Blatt family established the Blatt Family Fund in 2017 to advance cancer research globally across several therapeutic areas.

The Blatts are closely involved with the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Ride, an annual two-day cycling event from Toronto to Niagara Falls that raises funds for cancer research. Team Joanne has been one of the top community fundraisers for the event since the team’s inception. Additionally, Oliver and his sister, Georgia, created Dodo’s Delights, a self-published cookbook featuring Joanne’s original recipes that is sold throughout North America, with all proceeds supporting cancer research.

Beyond the Melanoma Research Alliance, Oliver serves other nonprofit organizations, including the National Arts Club and UJA-Federation of New York. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.
