Patrick O'Neill, originally from Honolulu, HI, is an Executive Vice President at BGIS, leading the US business for this global real estate solutions provider. Prior to his time at BGIS, Patrick was the Chief Commercial Officer of R2P Innovations, a leading ballistic security technology focused on the education and government market, where he now sits on the Board.
Before R2P, Patrick was responsible for all commercialization, growth, M&A, and partnerships at Founder Sport Group, acting as Chief Strategy Officer for this private equity backed apparel manufacturing business located in Charlotte, NC, where he doubled the business during the private equity firm’s hold period.
Prior to his time at Founder Sport Group, Mr. O’Neill worked in private equity within CCMP Capital's $3B+ consumer retail and healthcare practice (New York City), and was an Investment Banker at Goldman Sachs (Hong Kong and Tokyo). He graduated from Brown University with a BA in Business Entrepreneurship and Environmental Engineering.
In his free time, Mr. O’Neill enjoys traveling with his fiancé, spending time outdoors with his puppy Dalmatian, and getting a good daily sweat in, but more recently committed a significant amount of time to his entrepreneurial venture co-founding and managing Boat Racing, LLC, a thoroughbred horse racing syndicate where the most recent purchase, Hot Rod Charlie, ran second in the Kentucky Derby and Dubai World Cup.
Patrick's devotion to the MRA cause stems from both his uncle and father passing from melanoma at young ages — 38 and 57, respectively — which is why proceeds from Boat Racing, LLC winnings have been donated to the foundation.
