Alexandra Loux is the Associate, Development at the Melanoma Research Alliance. In this role, she supports MRA's fundraising efforts across major gifts, foundations, donor-advised funds, family offices, and strategic philanthropy initiatives as a member of the Development team.
Alexandra has built a strong foundation in nonprofit fundraising and donor relations through a variety of mission-driven organizations. At Lifeline Partnership, she secured in-kind contributions, led website and social media communications, and supported community engagement initiatives. As Membership and Development Coordinator for the National Historical Society, she advanced fundraising and membership goals through donor and foundation research, stewardship activities, and strategic outreach efforts.
Alexandra earned a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University in 2026, with dual majors in Human Services and Social Justice and History, along with a minor in American Studies. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in nonprofit management. She is originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Alexandra now lives in Washington, DC. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, exploring the city, and serving as a board member of Lifeline Partnership.
