To foster collaboration and accelerate research on uveal melanoma, MRA has developed a Uveal Melanoma Model Catalog comprised of commercially available cell lines and patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models from various institutions worldwide.
The catalog serves as a launching pad for researchers interested in studying uveal melanoma, providing awareness of available cell lines and helping them avoid the time-consuming process of creating new models from scratch. Please note that model exchanges between research laboratories are not guaranteed and in most cases would require an MTA between institutions and potentially an approved model use research request. By building awareness of accessible models, MRA intends to promote collaboration and advance research within the melanoma research community.
You can navigate through Tableau (below) to find uveal models with specific genomic mutations. MRA’s Uveal Melanoma Model Catalog provides essential information such as demographic data, the oncogenomic profile, and clinical features of each model. It also outlines growth conditions and maintenance protocols. The MRA aims to keep updating the list of available uveal melanoma models as they become available. Detailed genomic and clinical information on all available uveal models with corresponding contact information is available.
